LPN - PM Shift

Evergreen is seeking compassionate and talented person to join the Nursing team!

Evergreen is a Christian, non-profit senior living organization serving older adults ages 55 and better. Located in a pleasant residential neighborhood in Oshkosh, Evergreen offers many options to meet unique needs. Evergreen's 80-bed Medicare-certified licensed skilled nursing facility offers short-term rehabilitation care, long-term care and palliative care.

This position is 4-5 shifts per week, on the PM shift (2:30pm-10:45pm). Every other weekend and every other holiday are required.

This position is eligible for Evergreen's health, vision and dental insurance, and 403(B) retirement program with company match.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform skilled nursing tasks such as resident observations, weekly summaries, medications/treatments, enteral feedings, skin/wound care, physician rounds, etc
  • Assure proper techniques and/or procedures are followed, including but not limited to: resident rounds, restraint usage, monitoring resident location, bathing, transfers, use of care cards, etc.
  • Supervise unit staff during assigned shift and follow through on issues and concerns, including corrective action if needed, and keep Unit Manager informed.
  • Use appropriate safety procedures and standard precautions in completing work assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Wisconsin
  • Current CPR certification
  • A desire to work with older adults
