Sous Chef full-time; benefits package

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Evergreen has an opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our Culinary Services Department!

The Sous Chef will collaborate with the Culinary Services Manager to ensure exceptional dining experiences for Evergreen residents and customers. This role involves coaching staff, overseeing operations, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, organize, and coordinate department activities to deliver a high-quality dining experience.
- Coach and guide culinary services staff in daily operations.
- Assist in catering events across the campus.
- Monitor and uphold sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry practices and regulations.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of Sous Chef experience OR supervision of a culinary team.
- Preferably hold an Executive Chef certification.
- Experience in catering and menu development is an asset.

Schedule and Compensation:
This full-time position may entail shifts of 8 to 10 hours, scheduled between 5 am and 8 pm, Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays. The wage is $22.00 per hour based on full-time scheduling.

*Weekend shift differential is an extra $2 per hour!
